Santa's Sleigh Vignette Card/Decor
Sometimes inspiration hits in the middle of the night and I can't sleep until I've written it down or created a prototype: That was certainly the case with this Wintery Christmas card that transforms into a tabletop decoration!

Autumn Consolation
When I don't know what to say at the loss of a loved one, I can at least create a beautiful card to convey the feelings of sympathy...
This is for a sweet sister that I serve with in the Payson L.D.S. Temple who lost her mother yesterday and it started with the TGIF sketch this morning:
The copper embossing over the copper foil is so elegant and autumnal! It feels good to create something to express love and support for a friend and I'm grateful I had the time to make it today.

Snuggling in a Sweater & Sipping Cider: Gift Pouch
An excuse to wear a warm sweater and drink hot cider is always welcome, so as I was demonstrating this cute card on Facebook Live today (despite having no sound for the first minute), my friend suggested that it would be a perfect pouch for a hot drink, and I concur...so here it is as a pouch:
It's simply a landscape card with the opening at the top and the sides sealed to create a pouch.
I was following the #GDP054 sketch from the Global Design Team (turned it on it's side) and playing with the fabulous new Cable Knit Dynamic Designer Textured Embossing Folder (and it's a mouthful!). It's so *snuggly* you'll just want to rub your hands across the embossed paper over and over again.
TIP: Spritz your card stock on both sides with water before putting it in the folder and remember to only use ONE plate on top when running it through the Big Shot. Your "sandwich" will look like this (from the top to the bottom):

There is a briskness to the air in the mornings now, and it makes me hungry for Autumn! It is my favorite time of year...thus, I believe it is time for a color challenge!
Here's what I created using my color challenge and the Global Design Team sketch #GDP052 (when I really should have been working on my newsletter...but I'm the queen of procraftination!):
Try your hand at a Stampin' Up! creation using these lovely colors and tag them with #CJCC (Creative Juice Color Challenge) and PLEASE share your creations over on my Creative Juice Facebook Page before September 17th for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to spend in the new Holiday Catalog!

Watermelon Banner: Sweet Summer Stamping
Summer is slowing down, but the produce is perfect! We are swimming in peaches and apricots and I've enjoyed some delectable watermelon, too...and it's a fruit, so completely guilt-free.
I was inspired by my friend Jeanna's Summer & Sunshine framed art on her blog a few weeks ago and thus, when the TGIF "CASE your Fave" challenge came up, her craftiness was the first thing I thought of. And I love banners, so this was the brain-child that resulted:
They are super simple to create and I did a Facebook Live video to demonstrate how:
Did you know I am LIVE on FB almost every Monday at 12:30 PM (MST)? I would love to have you join me in real time, so come on over and like my Creative Juice page!

You Light Up My Life
Wanted an opportunity to create a card with the new Pun Intended Hostess set from the 2016-17 Catalog, so the TGIF Challenge seemed like a perfect chance to get my fingers inky!
Here's the sketch challenge:
It's a delightfully whimsical stamp set and these lightbulbs just made me smile as I was creating! The only way to get your hands on it is to host a party and did you know I also do virtual parties on Facebook? You don't have to clean your house or make a treat...just sit in your comfy clothes and party with friends for 30 minutes! It's as easy as it sounds so email me today to set a time!

Arabian (or Moroccan) Nights: Lantern Card
We received the Moroccan Nights stamp set at OnStage in April and at first I was like, "ehhhh..." but then I decided that I was going to USE it and LOVE it!! I've been making myself experiment with it and WOW it's pretty versatile! I'll share a few of my creations AND a tutorial for my favorite so far :)
Then I wanted to try a see-through card so I stamped on a window sheet with a black StazOn pad and added pieces of the fabulously exotic Moroccan Designer Series Paper to the front and inside. The Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim just happens to be a perfect blend between Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim, which are the In-Colors used on the DSP and on this card.
And this one is my favorite! I splattered water over the ombre-sponged background to create the Bokeh look and it turned out pretty awesome. You can download a .pdf tutorial HERE.

I stamped the large medallion as a background on this Flirty Flamingo card and then embossed the "Oh happy day" from the new Scenic Sayings set (that I won during Prize Patrol at OnStage!) in white embossing powder. The beautiful ruched ribbon (available in the 2016-2018 In-Colors) really steps up this simple card, don't you think?
