There is only ONE WEEK left to order the retiring stamp sets, and here are a few samples from another versatile retiring set, Doodle This. To add the all-over-sparkle on this card (and the one from the Heartfelt Thanks set I shared last week), simply stamp your image and color it in, then lay your card stock face down onto a Versamark Pad, covering the whole area. Add Iridescent Ice embossing powder to cover, shake off the excess and heat. And this technique is called "Crayon Resist": Use Stampin' Up! glossy white paper, stamp images in black ink and let dry. Next, use a white crayon and "doodle" anywhere you want white to appear. Finally, sponge classic ink over the images with a sponge or sponge dauber, then wipe card with a tissue for the white to POP OUT:
I'd LOVE to have more friends coming to the Stamp-a-Stack class this Saturday at 10 a.m. in Spanish Fork, Utah...call me ASAP to register (801-376-8685). Nothing says "I cared enough to send the very best" like a hand-stamped card!!

A Fond Farewell...
...to one of my favorite stamp sets, Heartfelt Thanks:It has been a staple for many of my favorite cards, so soft and subtle:It is one of the stamp sets that will be retired at the end of June, so if you need to add it to your collection, order it soon before it's gone forever.
Tune in tomorrow for another farewell and a look at one of the cards you could make at my upcoming Stamp-a-Stack class!

In My Own Little Corner...
For the two or three of you who *haven't* been in my home or seen any Decor Elements from Stampin' Up!, here is a little corner of my rumpus room with the Manhattan Flowers on the wall (The white blob on the right is the sun shining through the window, not a painting mistake). My friend Kelli made the "Faith, Family, Friends" hanging with similar vinyl, but not from SU!
When we moved into this house, Kiersta spent DAYS peeling off wallpaper in the entry...so much that she vowed NEVER to put wallpaper on any wall. The beauty of Decor Elements is that they are removable and don't damage the paint, thus: You can re-decorate as often as you wish :) And they are super easy to apply...I think I put up all of these in under 30 minutes. I watched a TV segment where someone put these very flowers on their stainless steel refrigerator: very cool!
The Manhattan Flowers are still available, but some of the Decor Elements are being retired at the end of June, too. If you would like a list of those that are retiring, just ask!
