In an act of true Serendipity (and thanks to Random.org for generating the random number 56 for the winning comment), Jamie B is the winner of my Blog Candy from the Royal Blog Tour! It is "Serendipitous" because Jamie lives less than one mile from my home :)
Thank you to everyone who visited and commented! Here is one more sample from the On a Pedestal stamp set to keep your creative juices flowing. Please stop by again soon!
The colors I used on this card are So Saffron, Cameo Coral, Rose Red, Garden Green and Certainly Celery...a combination found on the Stampin' Up! Color Coach (Item 105796, $9.95).

Royal Blog Tour
Welcome to Utah, blog travelers! I am delighted to introduce you to the new Stampin' Up! set On a Pedestal! The 2009-10 In-Color palette seemed to compliment the "party" feeling, so I used Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry for these cards:
For this pull-up card, I added a sentiment from the Chit Chat rub-ons...isn't it cute? Below is the surprise you find when you pull it up :)As another SWEET treat for stopping by, leave a comment along with your e-mail address and you can be entered to win my BLOG CANDY: the Spring Solitude stamp set and co-ordinating Solitude wheel (retired but brand new). I appreciate comments from everyone, but the drawing will be open to non-SU demos only and only to U.S. visitors but if you are a sister demonstrator or from another country feel free to comment anyway and indicate SU Demo/or country!
Happy stamping and visit anytime you need a shot of creative juice!

In Color Spotlight: Bermuda Bay
Ahhh, Bermuda Bay is the essential color of summer and I LOVE both the color AND this new stamp, Medallion. I tried putting a greeting on it, but it just doesn't need it :) The Bermuda Bay patterned paper is found in the "Thoroughly Modern" Designer Series Paper package. Simple? Yes. Beautiful? Definitely.

In-Color Spotlight: Crushed Curry
Flashback to the colors of the 70's: Crushed Curry brings back happy memories of Tupperware parties, the music of the Carpenters and shag carpeting! Paired with black, it felt like my great-grandma's kitchen:Paint with a little bleach and it will wash out the color, then pull out the sewing machine for the detail on the side! I'm off to see Harry Potter! See you tomorrow...
Edit: Sorry I forgot to say that this set is a new Hostess Level 1 set, Country Morning!

Deal of the Week: July 13-19
In-Color Spotlight: Rich Razzleberry
I pulled out the Big Shot to make this card to showcase the Rich Razzleberry In-Color: the flowers are created using the Manhattan Impressions Folder. These flowers definitely make a great "impression"! The grosgrain ribbon is actually polka-dotted on one side this year, but I felt like the elegance of the flowers needed just the plain side of the ribbon. Add a saying from the Sincere Salutations set and it is simply beautiful.
I wish I could send out a card to everyone who has been supportive and loving recently...for now, enjoy the "virtual" card and my deep gratitude. Friends are truly the flowers in the garden of life!

Spotlight on NEW In-Colors: DUSTY DURANGO
Being a girl originally from Dixie and with the rich sandstone dirt of my home firmly stuck between my toes, I always need a little of this color in my life. I painted my basement family room this color as an homage to "home" and all the kids know that I'd love a car in this same hue. I'd call it "Rusty Pumpkin", but Stampin' Up! has named it DUSTY DURANGO and it's one of the new '09-'10 In Colors! This card was created with the new Animal Stories set...isn't that an adorable giraffe?
I'm planning on posting a mono-chromatic card each day this week showcasing our new In-Color line, so come on back to visit!

Deal of the Week: Big Shot Doctor's Bag
Click on the link to the left for more info! Remember it's available for ONE WEEK ONLY!
A Very Jonas Fourth!
I was settling down for a quiet 4th of July when my friend Vicki called at 7 p.m. and said, "We have two extra tickets for the Stadium of Fire...want to come quick?" The show started at 8 in Provo and with my family spread all over the map, I had to find a date FAST! I called my friend Leslie and we raced to the stadium in time to find our seats (ON THE FIELD!!! THANK YOU VICKI!!) and watch Glenn Beck march in 76-Trombone Style:Next, SheDaisy took the stage...welcome home to Utah, ladies!Things then got a little crazy...
(This one is for Mindi...) In case it gets *too* crazy, just break out a good book and settle in :) Yes, this was taken AS the Jonas Brothers were singing!! WHAT IN THE WORLD? I love me a good book as much as the next person (and may have even been caught reading Harry Potter 7 at Stampin' Up! Convention...) but seriously? Maybe she is the grandmother of Kevin, Nick and Joe and has seen them perform hundreds of times...
We finished up with some spectacular fireworks and it was a very memorable holiday! So if you need any gifts for Young Women or Girl's Camp...support Vicki's lds-yw site because she totally ROCKS for letting us celebrate in style!
